Quick Bio:

I’m a motivational health Coach, inspirational writer and spin instructor based out of Denver Colorado!

My goal is pretty simple: Help individuals create healthier and happier lives by breaking what “weighs” them down – Physically, mentally and emotionally.

How it all started:

My passion for helping people began after losing my mother to cancer when I was 13. After her death, I struggled greatly with body image issues and put a lot of energy into trying to feel better.

Year after year, I always found the same thing: Helping others was the only thing that made feel whole again.

In 2012, one of my closest friends Lulu, asked me if I’d help her lose over 150 pounds. I had no idea what that would entail or how you even begin a process like that, but I had a feeling this was exactly what I was meant to do.

Break The Weight was born that March and started off originally as just a blog where Lulu and I would write everyday.

We talked not just about the journey of weight loss, but the journey of letting go and dealing with what weighs you down. We worked together for over a year, and Lulu lost a total of 100 pounds through my nutritional guidance, emotional support and personal training sessions.

After our journey ended, I decided to further my education and received my health coaching license from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and personal training license from AFAA.

I’ve worked with a wide range of different clients – some who have a lot of weight to lose and some who only have a little. The main focus of our work together is for them to figure out why they have these habits in the first place and how they can fix them in realistic ways.

I believe that taking care of ourselves gives us the power to create happy and extraordinary lives.

And I believe in doing that together.
